Orthopaedic Specialty Institute Medical Group has reported a data breach when it was discovered that 742 boxes of patient X-rays were stolen from an Iron Mountain Record Management storage facility. After an investigation by the authorities, it was discovered that two Iron Mountain Record Management employees stole the files and melted them down for the silver.The information in the records, which are 10 to 15 years old,  and could have included patient names, birth dates and medical record numbers.
